Alba marks Breast Cancer Month with Inspiring Awareness Session ‘STOP, THINK, and ACT Against Breast Cancer’
As part of its ongoing efforts to foster a healthier workforce and community, Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) hosted an awareness session under the theme " STOP, THINK, and ACT Against Breast Cancer," in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, highlighting the importance of prevention, early detection and proactive healthcare in improving outcomes and saving lives.
Held on 08 October at Oasis Hall, the session was delivered by renowned breast cancer specialist Dr. Noof Al-Shaibani, Consultant in Breast Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery, who, drawing on her extensive expertise, shared valuable insights on breast cancer risk factors, the importance of regular screening, and the support resources available to individuals and families navigating the disease.
Conducted in a hybrid format, the session welcomed Alba Ladies in person while providing a live broadcast for employees and their family members, enabling wider accessibility and broad participation across the Alba’s community.
