Alba Marks National Tree Week with Company-wide Tree Planting Initiative
Marking the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Tree Week, Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) conducted a Company-wide tree-planting campaign across various locations within its premises.
As part of this initiative, CEO Ali Al Baqali, along with the Company’s Executives, Management Team and employees, planted saplings at key locations across its facilities in Askar and Sitra. Additionally, saplings of various tree species were distributed to employees near the Company’s gates, encouraging them to plant these saplings at home.
The initiative reflects Alba’s support for the Kingdom’s environmental goals, including its commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2060. It also forms part of Alba’s ESG Roadmap, which places Decarbonisation as one of six strategic priorities aimed at creating sustainable value for the Company, its people and society.
