Beware of Fake Websites and Vendor Registration Requests
Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) has become aware of fraudulent websites and communications impersonating the Company and requesting payments for purported vendor registration, including false claims that such payments are refundable.
Alba does not charge any fees for vendor registration.
To protect yourself against fraudulent activities, existing and prospective vendors are advised to:
- Access Alba’s official corporate website only via https://www.albasmelter.com.
- Use Alba’s official vendor registration process through SAP Ariba.
- Carefully verify the full website address and sender’s email address before responding to any communication claiming to represent Alba.
- Do not make any payment, provide banking details, passwords or other sensitive information in response to an unverified request.
- Be particularly cautious of communications requesting payments in connection with vendor registration.
If you receive a suspicious communication claiming to represent Alba, please verify its authenticity directly with Alba’s Procurement Department through the official contact details published by Alba.
Alba will not be responsible for payments made or information disclosed to fraudulent or unauthorised third parties.
