Reporting Concerns
At Alba, integrity is fundamental to everything we do. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct and encourage anyone who becomes aware of conduct that may breach Alba’s Code of Conduct, Company policies, or applicable laws to speak up.
Where appropriate, concerns should be first raised with your line supervisor or manager. Concerns may also be reported to Human Resources (HR), Legal and Compliance, or a member of Alba’s Integrity Task Force, which includes the Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Supply Officer, and Chief Legal and Governance Officer and the Risk Officer.
If you’re not comfortable using these channels, prefer to remain anonymous or are not an Alba employee, concerns may be reported at any time through Alba’s Integrity Line.
Zero Tolerance for Retaliation
Alba strictly prohibits retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, seeks advice, raises a concern, or reports suspected misconduct. Any form of retaliation, including intimidation, harassment, discrimination, exclusion, or adverse action is considered a serious breach of Alba’s Code of Conduct, and may result in disciplinary action.
This protection applies to all individuals who raise concerns honestly and in good faith. It does not extend to reports that are knowingly false, malicious, or made with intentional disregard for the truth.
Alba’s Integrity Line
The Integrity Line is an independent and confidential reporting channel available to employees, contractors, suppliers, customers, business partners, and other stakeholders. It may be used to report concerns relating to possible breaches of the Code of Conduct, Company policies, or applicable laws. This includes, but is not limited to, fraud or financial irregularities, bribery or corruption, conflicts of interest, breaches of laws, regulations, or internal policies, and other matters that may expose Alba to legal, regulatory, or reputational risk.
The Integrity Line is operated by an independent third-party service provider and supports both, confidential and anonymous reporting. While anonymous reporting is accepted, individuals are encouraged to provide sufficient information and, where possible, supporting documentation to enable effective review and investigation.
All reports received through the Integrity Line are assessed independently and, where appropriate, investigated in accordance with Alba's established investigation and governance procedures.

The Integrity Line is NOT an emergency reporting channel and must not be used to report matters requiring immediate response including safety, environmental, security or medical emergencies. Such matters should be reported to Alba’s Safety and Health Group on 1783 3333 and/or to the appropriate national emergency services.
Employee related grievances should be raised through Alba’s HR grievance procedure.

Integrity Line is a comprehensive and confidential reporting tool to assist management and employees to work together to address fraud, abuse, and misconduct in the workplace, all the while cultivating a positive work environment. It is also available for use by non-employees. EthicsPoint is the name of the professional third-party entity that operates the Integrity Line service on behalf of Alba.

We believe that our employees are our most important asset. By creating open channels of communication, we can promote a positive work environment and maximise productivity. An effective reporting system can be our most useful tool to reduce losses due to fraud and abuse. We certainly also want you to report as you know what is going on in your company - both good and bad. You may have initial knowledge of an activity that may be a cause for concern and reporting it can minimise the potential negative impact on the company and its people. Also, offering positive input may help identify issues that can improve corporate culture and performance.
We all have the right to work in a positive environment and with that right comes the responsibility of acting in an ethical manner and letting the appropriate people know if someone is not acting appropriately. Existing channels should generally be used first, depending on the nature of the violation — for example, HR for grievances or performance issues, and SHE/Security for safety, environmental, or security incidents. The Integrity Line, however, is intended for serious ethical and integrity concerns, such as fraud, corruption, bribery, harassment, and discrimination. If your concern relates to a breach of the Code of Conduct involving such serious issues, it should be reported through the Integrity Line or the Integrity Task Force.
EthicsPoint does not generate or maintain any internal connection logs with IP addresses, so no information linking your PC to EthicsPoint is available. With a lower percentage of reports generated during business hours, most people prefer to report from the comfort of their home after hours and on the weekend.
A report from home, a neighbour's computer, or any Internet portal will remain secure and anonymous. An Internet portal never identifies a visitor by screen name and the EthicsPoint system strips away Internet addresses so that anonymity is totally maintained. Plus, EthicsPoint is contractually committed not to pursue a reporter's identity.

The EthicsPoint system is designed to protect your anonymity. However, you as a reporting party need to ensure that the body of the report does not reveal your identity by accident, for example, "From my cube next to Jan Smith..." or "In my 33 years...".

Our Company chooses to promote ethical behaviour. All unethical conduct, at any level, ultimately hurts the company and all employees, including you. The EthicsPoint system and report distribution are designed so that implicated parties are not notified or granted access to reports they have been named in.
When you file a report at the EthicsPoint Website or through the EthicsPoint Call Center, you receive a unique username and are asked to choose a password. You can return to the EthicsPoint system again either by Internet or telephone and access the original report to answer questions posed by a company representative and add further information that will help resolve open issues. We strongly suggest that you return to the site in the time specified to answer company questions. You and the company now have entered into an "anonymous dialogue" where situations are not only identified but can be resolved, no matter how complex.
All EthicsPoint correspondence is held in the same strict confidence as the initial report, continuing under the umbrella of anonymity.
