Alba Strengthens Global Industry Engagement at LME Week 2026

Alba Chief Executive Officer Ali Al Baqali led the Company’s delegation to London Metal Exchange (LME) Week 2026, one of the key platforms for the global metals and mining community.

As part of the programme, the delegation attended the LME Metals Seminar on 19 October at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, which brought together an international audience of more than 800 delegates and industry leaders to discuss the macroeconomic outlook, metals market trends, sustainability and global supply chain dynamics.

The participation provided Alba with an important platform to engage with key industry stakeholders, exchange perspectives on market developments and remain closely connected to the trends shaping the global aluminium and broader metals landscape.

The delegation also attended the LME Dinner, the LME’s flagship annual social gathering, on 20 October at Grosvenor House Hotel, which provided a further opportunity to engage with senior representatives from across the international metals and mining community.

Alba’s presence at LME Week reflects its continued focus on maintaining strong dialogue with its global stakeholders, strengthening market connectivity and staying abreast of developments relevant to the Company’s long-term positioning and growth.
