Alba Sports Festival a major success
The Alba Sports Festival was held under the patronage of Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba)’s Chief Executive Officer Ali Al Baqali in cooperation with the International Sports Academies Federation on 24 and 25 February at the Alba Club.
More than 750 athletes and 46 sports academies participated in the festival, which featured 12 individual and team-based sports competitions such as Bodybuilding, Bowling, Squash, Swimming, CrossFit, Football, Badminton, Billiard, Snooker, Martial Arts, Darts etc.
Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar – CEO of Bahrain's General Sports Authority, Mr. Ahmed Sabah Al Saloom – Chairman of the International Sports Academies Federation, Mr. Mahmood Abdul Samad – Director of Support and Services at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Ms. Reem Tawfiqi – Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority’s Representative were among the attendees at the Alba Sports Festival in addition to Alba’s Executives and Management Team.
