Alba launches ‘Safety is Driven by You’ Campaign
Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C (Alba) launched today, Sunday 10 December 2023, its mini-Safety and Health Campaign ‘Safety is Driven by You’ to emphasise on the bottom-up Safety communication as well as address challenges associated with the winter across the production processes.
The 3-day Campaign is being held under the directives of the Chief Executive Officer Ali Al Baqali, and will feature safety visits by Alba’s top officials, to interact with employees and contractors’ workers across the Company, as well as lectures by non-supervisory employees and contractor workers on topics such as Hand Injuries, Molten Metal Handling and Electrical Hazards.
The Campaign, which follows the Company’s recent milestone of 11 million safe-working hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI), reflects Alba’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its workforce.
