Alba makes history with its first ever achieved Safety Performance
The world’s largest aluminium smelter ex-China, Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) set new records in Safety on 30 April 2022 as it surpassed 25 million Safe working-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI) for the first time in the history of its commercial operations. This milestone came alongside exceeding 25 million metric tonnes (MT) in overall production since the Company began its operations in 1971.
