(Alba) underlined its commitment to accelerating its Digital Transformation goals, when Alba’s Chief Executive Officer Ali Al Baqali awarded certificates to 65 employees from 24 different departments – following their successful completion of several Industry 4.0 training courses throughout this year – during a ceremony that was held on 15 November 2022 at Alba’s Oasis Hall.
Alba Successfully Reaches the Financial Close for its Power Station 5 Block 4 Project
“Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), one of the world’s largest aluminium smelters, has reached the financial close for its Block 4 of Power Station 5 (PS5) that will add 680.9 megawatts (MW), which once completed will increase the nameplate capacity of PS5from 1.8GW to more than 2.4 GW”, as stated by the Chairman of Alba’s Board of Directors, Shaikh Daij Bin Salman Bin Daij Al Khalifa, in the virtual signing ceremony with Sinosure on Monday 14 November 2022.
