Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), renowned for its pioneering role in employee-training and development, held a one-day workshop titled “Thanks for the Feedback” for Alba’s Executives, Directors, and Managers on Thursday, 18 April 2019 at Alba SHE Hall.
Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray, presented the workshop based on the best-seller book ‘Thanks for the Feedback’ and highlighted the three kinds of feedback companies must utilise to be effective: evaluation, coaching and appreciation. This workshop was customised to teach key takeaways that address Alba’s challenges as well as promote the culture of feedback and a growth mind-set.
Commenting on this workshop, Alba’s CEO, Tim Murray, said:
“Pushing ourselves out of a fixed mind-set is key to embrace challenges ahead. And the only way to adopt a growth mind-set is to accept feedback positively.
Workshops such as these play an important role in enabling our future leaders to accept feedback in order to grow especially with Alba’s transformation into the world’s largest aluminium smelter.”
Based on the best-seller book “Thanks for the Feedback”, by Sheila Heen and Douglas Stone this workshop comes in continuum of various initiatives led by CEO Murray to coach Alba employees from various levels.
