1. When was Alba incorporated?
Alba was incorporated by Charter in 1968 & officially started operations in 1971 as a 120,000 metric tonnes per annum smelter.
2. When did Alba go public?
Alba went public on 30 November 2010.
3. On what Stock Exchanges are Alba shares traded & what are the ticker symbols?
Alba shares are listed on two exchanges: Ordinary Shares on the Bahrain Bourse and Global Depository Receipts (GDRs) on the London Stock Exchange – Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
4. What is Alba’s trading symbol on Stock Exchanges?
Ticker is ALBH for Bahrain Bourse and London Stock Exchange – Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
5. How do I buy/sell Alba stock?
Any potential investor can buy Alba shares by opening an account in any broker firm in Bahrain; once the account is established, an investor can buy/or sell through the broker.
6. What is the relation of the GDR and the ordinary share?
Each GDR is backed by five ordinary shares.
7. Who should I contact regarding my stock certificate?
The share certificate can be obtained either from Bahrain Bourse for ordinary shares and/or from the Custodian for GDRs.
8. How do I find out how many shares of the company I own?

13. Does Alba issue dividend? And when is the payout date?
The Board of Directors recommend the dividend to be paid subject to Alba shareholders’ approvals during the Annual General Meeting. Dividends will be paid within a maximum of 10 market days from the record date (excluding the record date).
14. When will be the next Shareholder meeting or AGM?
The next Shareholder meeting will take place tentatively in March 2021. The exact date is to be provided at a later stage.
