Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) distributed tickets for the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix for the fifth consecutive year among its employees. The move is in line with the company's long standing commitment to its employees, extending support towards Bahrain's development and encouraging the growth of motorsports in the kingdom.

Commenting on Alba's decision to distribute Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix tickets to its employees every year, Alba Chief Executive Laurent Schmitt said:
"Hosting one of the world's most exciting sporting events has earned Bahrain tremendous international exposure. This is an achievement we are all proud of, and we are pleased to contribute to the success of this important event.
"Alba is also firmly committed to constantly improving employee satisfaction, and is a commitment that we take very seriously. Financing the tickets for the three-day event for a third of our workforce is one of the many ways we try to show our appreciation to our employees. We believe that in doing so we support both our employees and the development of motorsports in Bahrain."
Alba had five years ago also distributed 3,000 tickets to its employees in a move that was described by the BIC Chief Executive Officer, Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa as "the largest campaign of its kind to be organised by a private company for its employees in Bahrain." |
